And now I’m stopping.
Oh, it has nothing to do with you, dear reader (*crickets*), it’s just that I’ve had another one of my several hundred epiphanies I get throughout the year. This time, my epiphany told me to lay off the “needless” writing and get on with the “real” writing: my novels. It’s time to roll up the proverbial sleeves and keep the eye on the prize, and all those other clichés that people love to regurgitate.
I’ve realized that the only writing that will ever get me noticed, no matter how clever or entertaining my other recreational writings might be, will be my stories turned into novels turned into people’s enjoyment and entertainment.
So, please forgive me if you enjoyed my Monday blog installments, it’ll pay off for you in other ways, like really great stories for you to read instead. Thanks for visiting my blog and be sure to stay in touch through e-mail or Twitter @JPKurzitza, where I have a serial flash fiction story every Friday for your reading pleasure.
This isn’t goodbye, simply goodseeyainawhile.
Cheers.
